Tree Reskue Watering System - Full Kit

Use Instructions

• Trees should be watered at least once per week to maintain proper hydration.

• Trees require 1 resevior per 6 diameter inches of trunk, measured at chest-height for proper watering.

  • (Eg. a 24 diameter inch tree would require 4 reseviors, since 4 x 6 = 24)

• It is recommended to buy enough reseviors to water your largest tree.

  • .(Eg. if you have a 24 diameter inch tree and a 12 diameter inch tree, you need 4 reseviors minimum)Trees should be watered at least once per week to maintain proper hydration

Installation

1.  Locate suitable spots around your tree's drip-line for each root injector.

2.  Auger a small hole in each spot for your root injectors (it is possible to simply shove each injector into the ground, however they will drain more slowly)

3. Place each root injector in their respective hole, making sure the lip is flush with the ground.

4. When ready to water - Remove root injector cap and place your water resevior over the root injector, utilizing the installed gromet in your resevior to maintain a tight seal

How often should I water my trees?

It is difficult to over-water a tree, it is recommended that a tree is watered at least once per week using Tree Reskue, if not more. Most customers pick one day of the week to do all of their watering utilizing multiple reseviors and root injectors.

How quickly does Tree Reskue drain?

Soil conditions heavily impact the rate of drainage. If your soil is compact and dehydrated, it takes a lot longer for water to drain and soak into the soil.  We recommend letting Tree Reskue drain overnight for first time use - as drainage will quicken over time as the soil becomes less compact.

Can't trees use natural groundwater instead of having to be watered?

Tree roots can only access water that is 2-5 feet underground. Much of the climate in the United States has slowly been getting drier, meaning there's less and less of this groundwater that trees can easily acess. Increases in heavy rainstroms through the years have also caused more water runoff, rather than soaking into the ground and repleneshing the water table.
